Kolohe Andino & Friends in ‘Brother’

We’re teaming up again with What Youth magazine to show their latest surf flick, starring Kolohe Andino and due to be released this month!  Join us on June 26th, 8pm, across the street from ZJ Boarding House on the lawn of the California Heritage Museum.

Featuring brother Kolohe and friends Ian Crane, Nat Young, Luke Davis, Tanner Rozunko and big guy Taj Burrow, this is what What Youth had to say about this film and it pretty much sums it up:

He grew up in front of us. With us. Around us. Under the ever-watchful eyes of commenters, likers, haters, sponsors, writers, filmers, photographers, parents, and friends. And all of this is for them. And you too. But it’s also for Brother.

A chance to show him surfing free. With his friends. Around the world. It’s not much more than that, and that’s exactly what we wanted.

Please enjoy the trailer below, especially 1:06 where Kolohe got the cover of Surfing Magazine and said it was the best wave of his life (the kid’s only 21!).  Enjoy!

This should be an action packed Night Sesh, but we look to temper the intensity with some snacks and refreshments from our friends at Vitacoco and a prize raffle to benefit Boarding For Breast Cancer.  Bring a blanket or beach chair and enjoy yourself!
